Alexander Electric Co. was formed in 1948 by Joe W. Alexander, the father of the current owner. By following his leadership and goals of honesty and integrity, the company has grown over the last 50 plus years to be one of the largest and the most respected electrical contracting companies in the area.
Our organization and volume put us among the top electrical companies in the country. We take pride in our good reputation and work daily to improve it. We realize that our future depends on maintaining our good reputation in the community and work daily to improve our customers' opinion of our Company and our services.
Our office/warehouse is located in the Bradley Industrial Park. We've been at this location since 1974. The location is just off the J. R. Allen Parkway, which gives us quick access to North Columbus, Harris County, and LaGrange. It's also easy for our customers and out of town visitors to find. Over the past few years, we've completely renovated our offices and doubled the size of our warehouse.
As a locally owned company, we are active in the community by supporting the arts, charities, youth organizations, and community projects. We're proud that most of our employees support our community through payroll deductions to United Way and that our company consistently receives the United Way Gold Award.
We provide a good place of employment. Because of our reputation and benefits, we've been able to employ the best skilled craftsmen in the area. Our current staff is the best trained and highest qualified staff in Alexander Electric's history.
